Rain proves fatal for two

FAISALABAD, March 26: Two persons, including a girl, were killed in rain-related incidents in different parts of the city here on Saturday night. Uzma, 10, daughter of merchant Riaz Ahmad, was buried alive when the roof of her house collapsed during rain on Sargodha Road. An industrial worker, Muhammad Naseer, was killed when a dilapidated wall fell on him in Mamunkanjan.

Meanwhile, the city received downpour accompanied with windstorm and lightening. A windstorm of moderate intensity hit the city around 7.30pm. — Staff Correspondent
