LAHORE, March 25: Punjab Police and Al Khan entered the final of the Punjab Police Servis polo cup after winning last league match on Saturday.

Six-goal Ahmad Nawaz Tiwana helped Punjab Police crush Candyland 9-5 1/2. Hissam Ali Hyder, Waseem Sial and Usman Haye added one goal each for the winners to complete the tally.

The losers, who had 1-1/2 goal handicap scored goals through Azam Hayat Noon (2) Asif Tiwana and Kamran Nooruddin one goal each. Seven goals by Dhruvpal Godara enabled Al Khan to beat United Solutions 9-7 to enter the final.

Junaid Ahmad scored the remaining two goals for the winners.

For the losers, who had two goal handicap, the goal scorers were Raja Samiullah (3), Aamir Shahid (1) and Taimur Mawaz Khan (1).

In another match of academic nature, Guard Rice/Master Paints defeated Garden Gas 7-4 1/2.
