Equal funds for UCs assured

BANNU, March 25: District Nazim Azam Khan Durrani has said that equal funds will be allotted to 49 union councils of the district to start development work in their respective areas.

Addressing a meeting on Saturday he said basic amenities of life would be provided to people of the area without any discrimination. Syed Fakhruddin Shah, convener, presided over the meeting which was attended by nazimeen, members and heads of building departments.

Mr Durrani said Rs15.3 million had been released through the CCB and added that the government was working for the socio-economic development to bring prosperity to the area.—APP
