Transporters block RCD Highway

HUB, Feb 3: Transporters blocked the RCD Highway on Sunday morning, bringing the traffic to a complete halt till the evening.

In protest against the toll tax, being charged by the National High Authority and the Frontier Works Organization, they blocked the highway by stationing their vehicles and did not allow motorists to move between Hub and Karachi.

Bus and truck drivers, conductors and cleaners chanted slogans against the NHA and FWO authorities for receiving the tax and increasing it recently.
