LAHORE: The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) will build two state-of-the-art amusement parks at Greater Iqbal Park and the Racecourse Park.

As per a press release, the amusement parks, a joint venture between the department and the private sector, will bring various forms of indoor and outdoor entertainment for children and families.

The parks will have rides, shows, themed areas and are expected to attract a large number of visitors annually, boosting the PHA’s revenue.

The PHA is also developing a cutting-edge botanical garden spread over 10 acres in the picturesque hill station of Murree, The construction for both projects is expected to begin this year.

Separately, the PHA is in the process of digitising revenue generation and has marked the marketing and coordination wings for this process.
