PESHAWAR: Benazir Income Support Programme Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid visited Pir Baba Gurdwara in Buner district, where she interacted with the women of Sikh community.

She apprised the Sikh women about the BISP registration process, and directed the BISP staff to facilitate the survey for deserving women from the Sikh community, according to a press release issued here on Sunday.

Ms Khalid emphasised that households with disabled persons should obtain a disability certificate from Nadra to ensure priority inclusion in the programme.

She said BISP was a welfare programme for poor families across the country, transcending religion and politics.
