ISLAMABAD: Fast bowler Mohammad Ali was named as the 15th player for Pakistan Shaheens’ upcoming red-ball matches in Darwin, the country’s cricket board said on Sunday.

The Shaheens will play two four-day matches against Bangladesh ‘A’ from July 19-22 and July 26-29. Ali will attend the developmental side’s camp in Karachi, which will be held from July 8-13.

Pakistan’s Test head coach Jason Gillespie will supervise the camp and will also travel to Darwin for the two red-ball matches. Shaheens will also play two 50-over matches besides participating in a nine-team T20 Series from Aug 4-18.

Abdul Rehman will be the head coach for white-ball matches, while Mohammad Masroor will be assistant coach for both the formats.
