KARACHI, March 21: A former IGP of Balochistan Waheed Imtiaz died here in a local hospital on Tuesday after a brief illness. He was 83. He leaves behind a widow, two sons and two daughters The deceased besides working as DIG Karachi also performed in various capacities in different parts of the country.

His Namaz-i-Janaza was held at Mubarak Masjid DHA and was laid to rest in Defence Graveyard.

CCPO Karachi Nazim Ahmed Siddiqui has expressed deep condolence with the members of the bereaved family.

Syoum will be held on Thursday between Asr and Mughreb prayers at Mubarak Masjid, Sea View while for women arrangement has been made at the residence of late Waheed Imtiaz House No 120/4, Main Khayaban-i-Rehat, Defence Phase-6.—APP
