KARACHI: Illegal structures razed

KARACHI, March 21: On the directives of KBCA Chief Controller Mumtazur Rehman, demolition squads razed various illegal structures in Jamshed Town and North Nazimabad on Tuesday. Demolition squads pulled down some constructions at Plot No JM222 in Jamshed Town and Plot No F-77/1, Block-B, North Nazimabad on violation of construction laws. They also demolished an illegally built fencing wall and roof at Plot No D-9/1, Block-11, in North Nazimabad.

In the same area, a shop built on Plot No SC-3, Block-G was also demolished, while the demolition of Plot No SC-2 Block-G was stopped after the owner of the shop himself agreed to raze it.

During demolition operation, deputy and assistance controllers and demolition officers of the respective towns were present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, the KBCA suspended the deputy controller of buildings Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Ayaz Khan, for negligence of duty.
