PESHAWAR, March 20: The Directorate of Archaeology and Museums, the government of NWFP, and the Pakistan National Commission for Unesco have jointly organised a three-day sub-regional conference on archaeology to be held from March 21 at the newly established Islamic Gallery of the Peshawar Museum.

The objectives of the conference are to provide a forum to research scholars to present their papers in the realms of archaeology in the region. The conference would be attended by 50 delegates from China, India, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
