According to a spokesperson, restaurants data has been compiled and special teams have been formed and assigned tasks in this regard. “Notices have been issued to ensure the installation of the system within 15 days. Awareness seminars will also be held after the specified period to address issues faced by various restaurant owners and provide information,” said the spokesman.

From July 1- the start of the new fiscal year, the enforcement-related actions will begin against restaurant owners who fail to install the system. This system will ensure to prevent the evasion of sales tax on services.

LDA: Lahore Development Authority Director General Tahir Farooq, while presiding over a meeting regarding LDA resource generation and review performance of all directors of the town planning wing, directed the officers concerned to achieve recovery targets before the end of the current fiscal year ending on June 30.
