KARACHI: Provincial Ombudsman Dr Muhammad Sohail Rajput has said the historic Phuleli canal will be converted into a state-of-the-art recreation spot for the people of Hyderabad.

He said this while speaking at the launch of the magazine of the Alumni Association Government College University Hyderabad (Karachi Chapter).

Speaking on the occasion, Universities and Boards Minister Muhammad Ali Malkani said that the first priority of the Sindh government was to develop the education sector on better lines, because development without education was not possible.

He said that the history of Government College was over 100 years old.

In his presentation, Amin Yousuf informed about the works and future projects under the Alumni Association Government College Hyderabad (Karachi Chapter).
