PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has promoted six officers of Provincial Management Service (PMS) to grade 18 and posted them on different positions.

The promotions were made on the recommendations of the provincial selection board.

According to a notification of the establishment department, the officers, on promotion, will remain on probation for a period of one year.

According to the notification, additional assistant commissioner, Kohat, Waqas Ahmad was posted as additional deputy commissioner (ADC) Kohat against the vacant post.

Section officer finance department Gul Nawaz was transferred and posted as ADC Charsadda, section officer housing department Ziaur Rehman was posted as ADC Battagram, section officer law department Mohammad Saud posted as ADC Karak, section officer culture and tourism department Abdur Rauf as ADC Hangu and assistant to commissioner (revenue) Malakand, Shakirullah was transferred and posted as ADC Kohistan.
