TOBA TEK SINGH: Robbers looted three levies soldiers on Tuesday night on Lahore-Abdul Hakeem Motorway (M-3) at Faisalabad between Tandlianwala and Samundri interchange.

According to a first information report (FIR), registered with Samundri Saddar police, complainant car driver Rana Faraz Shahid of Sambrial claimed that he was on way to Harnai, Balochistan, along with three levies soldiers, Zahir Khan, Qadir Shah and Asim Khan, from Lahore. When they were two kilometres from Samundri interchange near Chak 441-GB, six robbers intercepted them. They snatched from the levies men a submachine gun, a shotgun, three mobile phones and Rs28,000 in cash.

The complainant said the bandits had also looted three vehicles before looting them.
