TOBA TEK SINGH: Two labourers were killed when a fire erupted at a fireworks manufacturing factory on Sunday night in Faisalabad on Makkuana Bypass-Khurrianwala Road. The roof collapsed on them as a result of the fireworks’ blasts.

Rescue 1122 and Khurrianwala police said that the factory belonged to Zahid Hussain Labhi from Chak 229 RB. The deceased workers were identified as 15-year-old Ziaul Haq from Ghazi Town and 34-year-old Shahbaz Tufail. Their bodies were recovered from the debris of the collapsed roof, and firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze after strenuous efforts.
