Misbah sprints to victory in 400m

LAHORE, March 9: Six events were decided in the All- Pakistan Inter-board girls athletics championship at the Punjab Stadium’s track on Thursday. The athletes from Lahore, Gujranwala and Rawalpindi excelled in most competitions. Results:

400m: Misbah (Fsd); Yasmin (Rwp); Sania (Lahore).

Javelin throw: Sobia Sultan (Rwp); Madeeha Latif (Lahore); Sania (Lahore).

Long-jump: Aasim (Rwp); Sania (D.G Khan); Meera (D.G Khan).

4x100 metre relay: Faisalabad; Lahore; Gujranwala.

Shot-put: Madeeha Latif (Lahore); Shahnaz (Fsd); Nazia M Ishaq (Karachi).

4x400m relay: Nazia, Sana, Misbah (Lahore); Mehwish, Rabia, Shahida, Misbah (Fsd); Yasmin, Nausheen, Shumaila (Rwp).
