Sajjad tops leaderboard

LAHORE, March 8: Sajjad Khan posted a round of five-under-par-67 to emerge second day leader of the All-Pakistan Lahore Garrison golf championship on Wednesday.

Conditions at the course were windy, but Sajjad was little bothered and played remarkably well and birdied on holes 3,4,5,7,9,16 and 18 while having bogeys at the 8 and the 13 to top the leaderboard after two-day aggregate of 138.

The overnight leader Irfan Mahmood carded one-over-73 to finish the second round three strokes behind the leader. One stroke behind the leader is an amateur, M. Safdar.
