More traffic staff on The Mall

LAHORE, March 7: The city traffic police on Tuesday assigned extra 63 officials to maintain smooth traffic flow on The Mall. SP Waseem Khan told a meeting that the officials included three DSPs and the rest lower subordinates. Earlier, two DSPs were responsible to control traffic on The Mall. The SP said the new officials would do a patrol duty on the road and they all had been equipped with all resources required for the patrol duty. Besides, he said all traders on Lytton Road had been given a 24-hour deadline to escape a legal action against them.
