LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court on Monday acquitted PML-N MNA brothers Saiful Malook Khokhar and Afzal Khokhar in a 2018 case of staging a protest rally in support of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

Nawab Town police had registered the FIR against the Khokhar brothers and others on charges of attacking police team and resorting to violence.

All suspects filed applications under section 365K of CrPC seeking the court to acquit them of the charges. Judge Arshad Javed allowed the acquittal applications of all the suspects.
