JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has pinned the responsibility for the alleged rigging in the February 8 general elections on the establishment.

Speaking to the media in Peshawar, he said: “If they think they haven’t rigged the polls, then their May 9 narrative has been buried and the people voted for traitors.”

When asked if he foresaw another general election this year, the Maulana said there was no point in holding polls if the establishment remained involved in the process.
