PESHAWAR, March 3: The Inspector General of NWFP Police, Mohammad Raffat Pasha, has announced the appointment of the brother of late police constable Mohammad Pervez, in the police service as a constable, with immediate effect and the deceased’s son as ASI on passing the F.A examination. The constable was killed on duty.

The announcement was made by the police chief during his visit to the deceased’s family to condole the constable’s death.

The IG assured the family that every effort would be made for the welfare of the heirs of the contable.

Later the IGP laid a floral wreath on the grave of the constable.—APP
