KOHAT, March 3: Unidentified burglars broke into two shops near the Tehsil Police post and stole mobile phones and cash on Wednesday night.

The City police registered cases on Thursday in consultation with the bazaar union leaders who threatened to observe a strike against the negligence of the police.

The owner of the mobile shop, Arshad Jamal, told the City police that when he opened his shop he saw a hole in its roof and found mobile sets and cash missing. The same gang broke the locks of a medical store adjacent to the mobile shop and fled with cash and medicines.
