KARACHI, March 2: Syed Qaim Ali Shah, President of the Pakistan People’s Party, Sindh, has strongly condemned the torture of Mirpurkhas PSF leader Junaid Buland in the Mirpurkhas jail at the hands of outsiders and added that jail authorities and their mentors will be held responsible if any harm is met to him.

In a press statement issued here on Thursday, Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that it was height of lawlessness or the criminal negligence and collusion of the jail authorities that private people visited the Mirpurkhas Jail and severely tortured Junaid Buland who is being detained there at the behest of a ruling coalition partner.

The jail authorities were also not allowing the kith and kins of Junaid Buland to meet him.

The Sindh PPP President also condemned the interference in judicial process by the ruling party and demanded the Chief Justice of the Sindh High

Court to take notice of the incident.
