DERA GHAZI KHAN: Ladi gang has reportedly released all the 11 tribesmen who were kidnapped by its five armed men from a graveyard a day earlier, where they were offering fateha, in the Kot Mubarak police station limits in settled area.

Sources says the gangsters released the tribesmen after confirming that they were not involved in the killing of one of the Ladi gang members. The gang member was injured during a dacoity and later succumbed to his wounds, they added.

Asad Khan Chandia, Political Assistant to tribal area of DG Khan, told Dawn that the negotiations were held between the relatives of the kidnapped persons and the gangsters of Ladi gang, resulting in the release of all the 11 men of the Khosa tribe.

Previously, the gangsters used to release kidnapped persons only after getting ransom.

DG Khan District Police Officer was not available for his comment on the development.
