Safar moon not sighted

ISLAMABAD, Feb 28: The Ruet-i-Hilal Committee has announced that the Safar moon had not been sighted, hence the Holy month of Islamic Calendar year 1427, would fall on Thursday.

Tuesday under the chairmanship of acting chairman, Syed Shabbir Ahmad Kakakhel, in which it was unanimously decided that the Safar Moon was not sighted anywhere in the country.—Online
