RAWALPINDI, Feb 28: Pakistan People’s Party leader Agha Riazul Islam has said election results in the High Court Bar Council showed that lawyers community was with the PPP and democratic forces.

He stated this while talking to a delegation of People’s Lawyers Federation including Babar Ali, Sardar Altaf Khan, Sardar Hanif, Azmat Ali Qureshi, Asad Abbasi and Sardar Maqbool here on Tuesday.

He said the success of Sardar Shaukat in the bar council election reflected the lawyers’ confidence in the leadership of PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto. He said the success of lawyers belonging to the PPP indicated the changing political scenario of the country.
