Saudi Arabia and Qatar have welcomed the International Court of Justice ruling on South Africa’s request to impose emergency measures against Israel over its offensive in the Gaza Strip, Reuters reports.
The kingdom affirmed “its categorical rejection of the Israeli occupation’s practices and violations of the United Nations Convention on genocide”, the country’s foreign ministry said in a statement.
Qatar’s foreign ministry echoed the remarks as well.
