The health ministry in the Gaza Strip has confirmed that the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis has run out of food, anaesthetics, and painkillers, Al Jazeera reports.

“The health and humanitarian situation in the hospital is extremely catastrophic due to the siege by the Israeli occupation forces,” the ministry said.

The Israeli army has been besieging the Nasser Medical Complex for two days, amid fears of a repeat of what it did at al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.
