QAU in final round

ISLAMABAD, Feb 27: The Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) qualified for the final round of the Inter-university cricket championship defeating NUML by 103 runs in a Zone C contest.

Batting first QAU hit up 248 in 35 overs, Majid Khan the topscorer with 43. In reply NUML were dismissed for 145 in 28 overs, Naveed capturing four wickets.

The QAU team will now proceed to Faisalabad for the final round starting there from March 7. On show will be top eight teams.
