Arrangements for sports gala finalised

HYDERABAD, Feb 25: The University of Sindh, Jamshoro has finalised all arrangements to organise the Sindh Sports Gala-2006 in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission from Feb 27 at the Allama I. I. Kazi Campus.

The ceremony will be held at the Madre-i-Millat Fatima Jinnah Gymnasium.

A total of 13 public and private universities of the province, including the Sindh University, Karachi University, Greenwich University, Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, NED University, Karachi, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam, Sir Syed Engineering University, Karachi, Quaid-i-Awam University, Nawabshah, Agha Khan University in Karachi and Textile University, will participate in the competition.

Boys will participate in five events, including badminton, football, table tennis, shooting ball and basketball while girls will participate in badminton, table tennis and basketball.—APP
