A few dozen protesters gathered in occupied West Bank’s Ramallah to denounce Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Al Jazeera reports.

As the top American envoy arrived under tight security in the occupied West Bank, demonstrators held up signs reading “Stop the genocide”, “Free Palestine” and “Blinken out”.

“The Palestinians are extremely angry at America’s complicity with Israel in this genocide in Gaza. We shouldn’t be welcoming any US representative, especially Blinken, because he is part of the slaughter of our people,” Joharah Baker, a Palestinian activist, told Al Jazeera.
