“I suggest that Hezbollah learn what Hamas has already learned in recent months: no terrorist is immune,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, according to Al Jazeera.
He echoed the Israeli military’s earlier statement and demanded calm in northern Israel. “If we can we will do it through diplomatic means, and if not we will act in other ways.”
Netanyahu also reiterated during a cabinet meeting the three goals of the war — “the elimination of Hamas, the return of all our hostages, and the promise that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel”.
