Dastgir, Mujahid star for Reds

LAHORE, Feb 24: Half-century by Dastgir Butt and all-round performance by Mujahid Khan helped Lahore Reds earn a 14-run win over Kasur in the Inter-city Seniors cricket championship at the Model Town ground on Friday.

Dastgir scored 47-ball 50 as Lahore Reds piled up 237 for six in 30 overs. He cracked eight boundaries. Tariq Baig (37), Mudassar (35 not out) and Mujahid Khan (30) also made useful contributions.

Mujahid also excelled with the leather snaring three wickets for 23 runs as Kasur were 223 before all out in 30 overs.

Opener Mazhar Ali played a fine knock of 45-ball 62, laced with nine boundaries.
