PIA, KPT in final

KARACHI, Feb 24: PIA Youth and Pak PWD will compete in the final of Karachi Inter-club hockey championship on Saturday at 4:00pm. In Friday’s semifinals, PIA Youth routed KPT 8-0. Sohail Ahmed slammed two goals wile Imran Mani, Mohammad Wasim, Nadeem Bhatti, Mohammad Izhar, Mohammad Ata, and Zeeshan Ahmed got one goal each.

Pak PWD in the other semifinal beat National Hockey Club 5-4 on penalty shoot out after their match ended in 1-1 draw in the regulation time. Falakbos scored for PWD on penalty corner while Mohammad Irfan level the terms for National Club.—APP
