Two-day school athletics from 27th

KARACHI, Feb 24: As many as 1100 athletes from 70 schools of the city will be seen in action in the inaugural edition of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) -athletics meet to be held here at the National Sports Training and Coaching Centre (NSTCC) from Feb 27.

Almost 550 girls from all over Karachi are among the 1100 athletes who would be featuring in various events of the meet. The competition is only opened to students studying in government schools.

Competitions to be held during the two-day meet includes 100 metres, 200-m, 400-m, 800-m, 1500-m, high jump, long jump, discuss throw, shot put, 4x100m relay, 4x400m relay.—PPI
