Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee has published a statement on his Facebook page explaining new instructions for the movement of citizens in Gaza, Al Jazeera reports.

The statement announced the closure of the humanitarian corridor on Salah al-Din Street and transferring it to the coastal al-Rashid Street.

“The humanitarian corridor on al-Rashid Street will be open for movement from the north to the south of the Strip only, whether on foot or by car, starting today between the hours of 09:00 in the morning and 16:00 in the afternoon,” the statement said.

“There will also be a local and temporary tactical suspension of military activities for humanitarian purposes in the al-Bruk and Jaffa neighbourhoods in Deir al-Balah from 10:00am until 14:00pm for the purpose of supply.”
