ISLAMABAD: Training of assistant presiding and polling officers has formally started in the capital.

Officials of the capital administration on Saturday said District Returning Officer Irfan Nawaz Memon started the training of 5,582 assistant presiding and polling officers.

The training of the staff for the upcoming elections has been arranged at two schools in G-6/2 and G-7/2, the officials said.

The district returning officer visited the schools and reviewed the training arrangements as well as the training process. Training will continue till January 2.
