Squash: Mansoor, Shahid ousted

KARACHI, Feb 23: Pakistan’s Shahid Zaman and Mansoor Zaman fell in the last four stages of men’s single of the Asian Senior squash championship after facing defeats by Malaysian players in semifinals on Wednesday in Taiwan.

According to the details made available here, Pakistan No2 Mansoor was lost to M Azlan Iskandar 3-9, 9-0, 9-2, 10-8. Mansoor won the first game but failed to reproduce his first game form and went down tamely.

Shahid retired against Malaysian star Ong Beng Hee after being 1-3 down in the third game having lost the first 9-10, 1-9.
