DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Feb 23: A bomb ripped through a video shop in Zafarabad colony in Dera Ismail Khan on Thursday, wounding five people including a child, hospital sources said.

Shop owner Shakeel, who also suffered injuries in the blast, told reporters that few people and the child were present in the shop when the explosion occurred.

He said that the device went off as the child entered the shop located in the Barki Plaza in the Zafarabad colony.

It could not be known where the wounded child, who remained unidentified, was taken. The Cantt police station have yet to find the reason of the blast.

The other three people injured in the blast were identified as Berkatullah, Naveed and Rizwan. They were taken to a local hospital. One of the injured was stated to be in critical condition, doctors said.
