Frustration among Israelis grows as Gaza bombardment continues

Al Jazeera’s Sara Khairat has said Israeli people are very frustrated even though the public had supported Gaza’s bombardment.

“You have the families of those held captive that want them brought back and you also have tens of thousands of people right now here in Tel Aviv in hotels, from the northern border towns as well as the southern border towns, currently displaced,” she said.

She said that some people from the northern border towns protested yesterday, wanting answers as to when the hostages will be able to return.

“So you have, on one hand, the Israeli government and military saying this is going to take a very long time, and then the public, even though it’s supporting the war, feeling incredibly frustrated,” Khairat said from Tel Aviv.
