The Israeli army says three aircraft crossed into its territory from Lebanon and were taken down near Mount Dov, Al Jazeera reports.
It remains unclear what type of aircraft.
It also reported additional objects were brought down in open areas across northern Israel.
The army said it fired at the incoming targets and the air force attacked Hezbollah positions in Lebanon in response.
