Rally against school plot encroachment

NAWABSHAH, Feb 22: Dozens of teachers and students of the Government Primary School, Allah Warayo Kalo, Union Council-1, Nawabshah, staged a protest demonstration outside the press club here on Wednesday against encroachment on a school plot by some influential people.

The protesters were led by Syed Mastan Shah, President of the Primary Teachers Association, Saleem Khan Zardari and others. Carrying placards and raising slogans, they said that police were supporting the encroachers and when they approached police, they were threatened. They demanded immediate vacation of the plot and warned of closing all schools of the district if no action was taken 25 February.
