The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has called on the international community to demand prompt action to stop the Israeli bombardment of Gaza at the United Nations Security Council.

The UNSC will meet today for a vote on a much-delayed resolution calling for a pause of escalations in the Gaza Strip.

In a post on X, the Palestinian ministry said “Israeli killing machines are racing against time” and “committing the most heinous massacres against civilians” in the besieged enclave.

“The occupying state escalates its genocidal war and brutal bombardment, whether in the northern areas of Gaza Strip where Israeli destructive machines level them to the ground or in the central and southern areas of the Strip, which are crowded with citizens and displaced people,” it added.
