Hamas leader Haniyeh arrives in Cairo for talks on Gaza: statement

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh has arrived in Cairo to hold talks with Egyptian officials, mainly on developments in the war with Israel in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian group said.

The visit comes after Israel said it was willing to agree to another pause in exchange for more hostages.
