A new poll by The New York Times and Siena College shows strong American disapproval of US President Joe Biden’s handling of the Gaza conflict, Al Jazeera reports.
Over half of the poll’s respondents (57 percent) object to Biden’s handling of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Only 38 per cent say they trust Biden to do a better job managing the crisis than ex-President Trump.
According to the poll, young voters are the most critical of Biden, with nearly three-quarters of those between the ages of 18 and 29 disapproving of the president’s policies in the region.
