The Palestinian Red Crescent says the death toll from an Israeli air attack in the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem in the occupied West Bank has risen to five, Al Jazeera reports.

Earlier today, the Israeli army said it conducted an attack on the site with an aircraft targeting what it said were Palestinian fighters.

Wafa news agency reported that Israeli forces prevented ambulances from reaching the camp and arrested one paramedic.

It added that a large-scale raid with tanks and bulldozers followed the air attack.
