Rizwan slams hat trick

HYDERABAD, Feb 21: Qamar Eleven and Mehran Club qualified for the final of Hyderabad Inter-club hockey championship at the Board Stadium on Tuesday.

In the first semifinal, Qamar eliminated Azad Club 7-0 mainly through Rizwan Mughal who slammed a hat trick.

Awaisuddin scored two, Javed Hussain and Saifullah struck one each for the winners.

Mehran defeated Shah Latif Club 4-1 in the second pre-final. Qamar Waheed netted two while Khalil and Adnan Hamid scored one goal each for the winners.

Basit scored the only goal for the losers.

The final would be played on Feb 22 at 4:3pm.
