Coaching course from tomorrow

LAHORE, Feb 21: Three weightlifting coaching courses will be held in Islamabad, Quetta and Lahore, with the first starting at Islamabad from Thursday. Each course will be of nine days duration with 25 new coaches taking part.

The courses are being held by the Pakistan Weightlifting Federation with the collaboration of Pakistan Sports Trust.

The first course in Islamabad will be held from Thursday to March 4. Coaches from NWFP, Islamabad, Punjab and Army will attend.

The second course will be organised in Lahore from the first week of April and coaches from HEC, Railways, Wapda and the host city will hone their skills.

At Quetta, the course will be held in the first week of May and coaches belonging to Sindh and Balochistan will attend.
