Three arrested for bank fraud

TOBA TEK SINGH: Faisalabad FIA Cyber Crime wing arrested on Saturday three members of a gang involved in online fraud.

Spokesperson for the FIA said the suspects, identified as Liaqat Ali, Mazhar Iqbal and Muhammad Mazhar, used to make fake calls to the bank account holders impersonating bank officials all over the country. They would withdraw cash from their accounts with fraud.

An FIA team recovered from their custody three mobile phones, nine SIM cards and three ATM cards.

WHEELIE: A motorcyclist lost his life while doing wheelies in Faisalabad. According to eyewitnesses and Rodala police, Waseem Abbas Bablu of Chak 282-GB was doing a wheelie on his motorcycle on Jassoana Bangla Road when he fell down. As a result, he was critically wounded.

He succumbed to his injuries when he was being shifted to the district headquarters (DHQ) hospital.
