The bodies of two more captives were recovered by Israeli forces inside Gaza and brought back to Israel, the military has said, Al Jazeera reports.

The army said it identified the two as Nick Beizer and Ron Sherman, two 19-year-old soldiers who were taken by Hamas fighters on October 7.

Both families were informed following an identification process carried out by medical officials, it added.

The announcement comes a few hours after the body of a civilian, Elia Toledano, was retrieved from the strip.
